Wonder where do they weave the national flag in India???
The only place where the hand woven national flag of india is made
is in a small city called Garag in Dharwad district in Karnataka.The Khadi used for it is got from Dharwad and Bagalokote districts. Once the kadhi is woven,it is sent for quality tests to BIS and once it is passed,it is sent back to the factory and the dyeing is done.
One of the movie revolves around this city and ambiance of patriotism is "Veerappa Nayaka"which stars Vishnuvardhan and Shruthi.
